Event Photography

Invite me to document your next event! You will find that I dress for the event and interact with your guests. What you won't find are hundreds of blah photos to sift through. I'll capture the important moments, highlights and the fun candids.  (Does not Include weddings)

Headshots

Professional head shots attract the attention needed to get clients and opportunities. They project professionalism and success and my lifestyle sessions can convey even more of the image you want to project. You will be coached on clothing, location choices beforehand and then, during the session, posed and given tips to bring out your best.  

Professional Headshots $150

1 set up and outfit, 4-6 images with print release

Lifestyle Headshots $250

2-3 set ups and outfits, 16-18 images with print release

Extended Session - Large Groups and Families

We can warm up, act naturally and really get those beautiful lifestyle pictures. This is really whats needed for large groups/extended family, newborns, high school seniors, and engagements. We'll have fun, get creative and we won't stop until we're done! You can expect to choose from 30+ images.

BOOKING PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY

 

BOOKING: For all portrait sessions; a non-refundable deposit is required to book and hold the date for your session and serves as a cancellation fee. However, the fee can be credited towards a future session upon the photographers approval. All remaining balances are due at the time of the session.

For event and wedding packages; a 50% retainer is due immediately to book and hold the date of your event and also serves as a cancellation fee. The remaining balance is due two (2) weeks before the date of the wedding or at the start of the event.

 

PAYMENT: All sessions and packages (plus taxes) can be paid via cash, check, Venmo, PayPal, Apple Cash or Zelle . If a client pays by check, the check must clear and any uncleared check will have an additional charge of $35 to cover bank fees. 

 

CANCELLATION POLICY: For portrait sessions, client forfeits their session retainer paid to book the session. As previously stated, the fee can be credited towards a future session if the client reschedules the appointment by calling 72 hours prior to the date of session and re-booking at an agreeable date and time.

For weddings and events, if for any reason the Client cancels before the wedding date, the Photographer will keep the the event retainer fee paid to hold the wedding or event date as a cancellation fee. Cancellation must be made in writing, by mail or e-mail. However, if the client requires to change the wedding date, I will do my best to accommodate the change and no fee will be charged as long as the new date is available.  If I am not available for the new date, the original contract will be cancelled and subject to the cancellation policy.

 

If Katie O'Brien Photography cannot perform this Contract due to any cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to Photographer’s illness or emergency, then the Photographer shall return the retainer fee to the Client but shall have no further liability with respect to the Contract. This limitation on liability shall not apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera or other media malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the Photographer. In these cases, the retainer or fee will be credited towards a future session upon the photographers approval, if possible. If a future session is determined to not be possible, a refund of fees will be given.
